Solumbria provides adaptable and upgradeable structural steel solar parking structures for private and public projects.

Over the past three years its Principals have produced over 30 MW of solar parking structures across the United States. We are currently bidding our proprietary *Patent Pending design on contracts for Government, Educational, Commercial, Retail, and Residential Solar Parking projects throughout the United States and Asia. The Solumbria team indentified the need for more flexibility in the solar parking structure market and have devoted a year in research and development to come up with a design that revolutionizes the industry.

Finishes


Structural Steel: Galvanized, factory applied marine coat epoxy, factory applied powder coating with surface preparation per AISC recommendations. Colors per client specification.
Light Gauge Steel: CEE or ZEE purlins in G-60, G-90 or G-140 corrosion resistant galvanized finish.
Fasteners: Mechanically fastened Design (Solumbria HW): Stainless Steel and/or galvanized fasteners. Clip based design (Solumbria SW, E): Gauge metal clips, commercially available galvanized solar washer and bolts.


Foundations


Site Specific
- Options include auger cast piles, caissons; spread footings, metal fin piles.
Reinforced
- Concrete Bollard above grade 2'-6" to 3'-6" high; varies with grade


Structural Steel


Columns: Pipe Columns, I beam or HSS tube sections; site and aesthetic dependent.
Support Beams: Patent Pending Solumbria slotted I beams
Purlin Clips: Patent Pending Solumbria Plate Steel and Slotted angles.
Fabrication: For TAA, BAA, and Domestic projects all structural steel is fabricated through our network of -certified AISC fabricators. All fabricators must be certified through the Solumbria Fabricator program.

PV panels: Adaptable to any commercial or -utility grade PV panels with no change in horizontal -support structure.
